VANCOUVER, British Columbia – Silvercorp Metals Inc. (“Silvercorp”) is pleased to announce that it will transfer its NYSE Amex listing to the New York Stock Exchange (“NYSE”). Trading of the Company’s common shares under the symbol SVM is expected to begin at the opening of the NYSE on November 5, 2009. The Company’s Canadian exchange will remain the Toronto Stock Exchange.
