Position Description:

We are seeking an Investor Relations Associate focusing on marketing research. The ideal candidate will be someone who is eager to learn, hardworking, and highly adaptable in a fast-paced international corporate setting.

Reporting to the Vice President who manages Corporate Affairs, Investor Relations, and Corporate Communications, this position will provide support in creating and communicating a positive and favorable public image for the Company. You will be required to create promotional materials, research for content generation, engage in social media initiatives, coordinate with current and potential investors, contribute to the management of the company’s marketing materials and campaigns, and organize meetings, presentations, and events.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Contribute to the development and distribution of investor materials that support our culture and messaging strategy;
  • Develop and maintain ongoing disclosure materials that are clear and accurate;
  • Manage the company’s online presence via the corporate website and social media channels through content creations of all types (e.g., corporate fact sheets, PowerPoint presentations, corporate videos, etc.);
  • Outreach and engage with potential new investors and journalists
  • Organize and coordinate investor relations activities, including the preparation of materials and coordination of all logistics associated with these events, and represent the company at these events where appropriate;
  • Develop and maintain positive working relationships with a variety of stakeholders from shareholders and investors to service providers and vendors;
  • Analyze market and financial trends in the minerals and investment industry and be able to share this knowledge with others in the company;
  • Perform other duties as assigned, including similar duties as above for affiliated companies and subsidiaries.


  • Relevant degree in Business, Economics, Communications, Public Relations, Geology, Engineering or equivalent;
  • Relevant experience in a similar capacity, preferably with a resources company.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access, and Outlook)
  • Strategic, analytical thinker who is open to continuous learning, has an adaptable, “can do” attitude, and takes action to achieve the established goals;
  • Strong business acumen with a results-driven approach and a solid understanding of the mining industry;
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, demonstrating the ability to connect and build relationships with various individuals inside and outside the company;
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills with the ability to craft concise and engaging messages targeting a wide variety of audiences;
  • Outstanding organizational skills and attention to accuracy and detail;
  • Superior problem-solving skills, embracing the adoption of new processes and technology to increase efficiency and achieve new objectives;
  • Ability to work with different cultures across different time zones;
  • Leadership skills and the ability to direct others would be an asset.

Additional Desired Qualifications:

  • Prior experience in mining industry is preferred
  • Spanish language abilities is considered a strong asset
  • Experience with online database platforms such as S&P Capital IQ, S&P Market Intelligence, Bloomberg, and IPREO

Job Demands/Physical Requirements:

  • Availability via mobile device outside of office hours
  • This position is based in our Vancouver head office with some travel to our projects and offices in Bolivia and other destinations for conferences, roadshows, and IR events.
